Memory Park playground has been upgraded to include a range of modern equipment to cater for children aged up to 12 years old.

The upgrade includes a seven-metre high activity centre with four slides, jungle gym ropes course, bridges, monkey bars and a multi-level fort.

Youngsters are also catered for, with new swings and a crawler play area on rubber softfall which includes a small activity centre, spring rockers, tunnel and two slides.

Landscaping improvements to the playground, which was designed to blend into the natural environment, have also been carried out, including new furniture and a turfed picnic area, as well as pathways with sandstone walls and stairs.

The project follows the successful upgrade of Memorial Park playground.
