Upgrade works to commence at Brown Hill Hall

One of Ballarat’s most-used community halls is set to undergo a redevelopment to provide users with better amenities.

Upgrades to the Brown Hill Hall, which can accommodate up to 200 people in its main hall, will include a new access ramp and foyer, and upgraded toilet facilities.

The design for this project was developed by Content Studio Architecture and Design in close consultation with the Brown Hill Hall Committee and user groups. 

Earlier this month 4Front Constructions were awarded the tender, and last week commenced erecting site fences. 

Building works will begin this week.

The hall will remain open for use throughout the construction period, however there will be some noise during work hours. 

Works are expected to be completed in early 2019.
