At the Ordinary Council Meeting on Thursday 5 July 2018, Councillors voted in favour of placing on public exhibition an amendment to its Revenue Policy for water charges for Bombala residents through one billing period.
Council resolved to advertise for 28-days, commencing today (Wednesday 18 July) a proposed rebate of $1.56/KL for residential water usage charges for Bombala residents, due to water quality issues.
The proposed rebate is to be offered on the February 2018 reading.
Council invites submissions on the proposed amendment. These must be in writing and received by 5pm on Tuesday 14 August 2018.
