The search is on again to find the next Australian of the Year.
The Australian public is invited to nominate those inspirational Australians whose work helps to make Australia a better place.
It could be a friend, a colleague or just someone whose work you've always admired, but unless you nominate them, these outstanding Australians may never get the recognition they deserve.
It only takes one nomination to be in the running for one of the four Award categories – Australian of the Year, Senior Australian of the Year (aged 65 years over), Young Australian of the Year (aged 16-30 years) or Australia’s Local Hero.
A nomination could come from a friend, family member or even a stranger.
