Applications for the City of Albany’s Regional Events Sponsorship program are now open.
A total pool of $65,000 is available and applicants can apply for up to $20,000 in funding to go towards an event to be staged in the 2019 calendar year.
Executive Director Community Services Susan Kay said the sponsorship program aimed to support the staging of regional events that contribute to the ongoing development of tourism within our region.
“The Sponsorship program supports events that can produce wide ranging social and economic benefits for the broader community,” Ms Kay said.
“Through Regional Events Sponsorship we have been able to support a number of fantastic events which have produced great outcomes for Albany including Southern MTB, Taste Great Southern and Albany Trail Run.”.
