Over the next month, the City of Albany will be asking community whether they are hearing them loud and clear.
From July 26 through to August 20, the City of Albany will be reviewing their communications and engagement strategy, with the aim of improving the way they interact with their community.
Albany Mayor Dennis Wellington said the City’s communication had come a long way but there was always room for improvement.
“We want to check in with our community to find out how they are connecting with us, and if they aren’t, why not and how can we improve?” Mayor Wellington said.
“Community feedback is valuable in helping us to review the way the City communicates.
“People can be part of the conversation by speaking with our staff at the stands, registering to for the consensus survey, be interviewed by our independent reviewers, or by attending a round table discussion with other community groups.”
Members of the community can attend a series of Community Conversations:
Albany Plaza Shopping Centre : Thursday, July 26. 2pm – 6pm.
Dog Rock Shopping Centre: Saturday, July 28. 10am - 2pm.
Spencer Park IGA Arcade: Thursday, August 2. 2pm - 6pm.
North Road IGA Arcade: Saturday, August 4. 10am - 2pm.
Albany Public Library (upstairs): Saturday, August 11. 10am - 11.30am.
Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre: Saturday, August 18. 10am - 2pm.
