Seymour Resource Recovery Centre now closed

The Hume and Hovell Road Resource Recovery Centre site has now closed permanently to complete the final stage of the former Seymour landfill rehabilitation project.

A temporary Resource Recovery Centre will operate at the Mitchell landfill site in Hilldene.

The temporary centre in Hilldene will ensure we can continue to provide waste and recycling services to the Seymour community during the development and construction of a new permanent facility.

The temporary Resource Recovery Centre will operate from Monday 23 July with reduced operating hours:

> Monday 10am - 3pm > Saturday 9am - 12pm

470 Seymour-Tooborac Road, Hilldene 3660 Turn right just before the CFA shed at Hilldene on Seymour-Tooborac Road.

From 16 July onwards, the Broadford Resource Recovery Centre will be extending its opening days to help support the Seymour community and its neighbouring residents.

The Broadford Resource Recovery Centre will be open: Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm - 4pm
