Donations Pass $200,000 Mark

Donations from Council to local charities, organisations and community groups will hit $217,595 this year.

“Council tries to provide the best services for the community that we can, but we also do a great deal to support local groups who are also doing a huge amount for residents too,” said Coffs Harbour Mayor, Councillor Denise Knight.

“That includes donations, waiving certain charges and also offering rate subsidies. I’m very pleased to say that this year we’re giving away more than $217,000.”
