Fairfield City Council staff will hit the road and celebrate NSW Local Government Week 2018 at various pop-up offices across the City next week.
Held from 30 July to 5 August, Local Government Week is an opportunity for residents to learn what Council does and highlights the important services it delivers to the community.
The Mayor, Councillors and Council staff will be on hand to answer questions and residents can explore some of the great projects Council is delivering to benefit the community.
Mayor of Fairfield City Frank Carbone highlighted the important role Council plays in the community and invites everyone to discover more about Council.
“Councillors will join me at each of the pop-up offices throughout the week and we want to talk to as many residents as possible. We want to talk to you about what you love about Fairfield, hear your concerns and discuss how we can work together to make Fairfield an even better place to live, work and raise a family.”
“It’s a great opportunity to get out and meet the community. I encourage you to pop down and say hello.”
Our friendly Council staff members will also be happy to answer queries and talk about any of Council’s services or the great projects we have coming up.” Mayor Carbone said.
Council’s pop-up offices will be at the following locaitons during Local Government Week: Monday, 30 Jul: Dutton Plaza, Cabramatta, 10.30am-1.30pm Tuesday, 31 Jul: Bonnyrigg Plaza, from 12pm-3pm Wednesday, 1 Aug: Fairfield Showground – Pickers Bazaar Market, 10am-1pm Thursday, 2 Aug: Fairfield Neeta City, 12pm-3pm Friday, 3 Aug: Stockland Wetherill Park, 10.30am-1.30pm Saturday, 11 Aug: Fairfield Showground - Fairfield Markets, 10am-1pm
