Eat Your Heart Out, Liverpool’s standout food and cultural festival is set to pull the best Western Sydney artists to Railway Street, filling two stages with great talent.

On 25 August, Railway Street will light up with food trucks, music, markets, carnival games and live performances.

Macquarie Bistro co-owner Clayton Ries, formerly of Metro Theatre and The Gaelic Club, came on board for this year’s festival and brought together a strong lineup for the Main Stage.

“After seeing what occurred in 2017 and the amount of families it brought to the area, I just wanted to get more involved to strengthen what has already started,” Mr Ries said.

“I want to integrate a couple of key themes into the program – I wanted to get artists with a strong Western Sydney connection and I wanted to draw on a funk vibe.”

Festival producer Vi Girgis said renowned dance troupe Shaun Parker and Co would add their exhilarating performances to the mix.

“We’re really excited to have Shaun Parker and Co on board again,” Ms Girgis said.

“We had them in Liverpool for the Street Art Festival a couple of years ago and the crowd loved them. This time, their performance is called The Yard and I can’t wait to see it.”

The Serviceway Stage will showcase some of Western Sydney’s best up-and-coming musicians, some of whom performed to rave reviews at last year’s Eat Your Heart Out Liverpool.

“The reaction these performers got last year really blew us away,” Ms Girgis said.

“We’ve also brought in some of the best performers from other events we’ve put on throughout the year.”
