Stock on road - drive with care (8pm, 12/7/18)

Shire of Augusta-Margaret River 12 Jul 2018

Motorists are being asked to slow down and take care when approaching the intersection of Bussell Hwy and Webster Road just north of Cowaramup townsite following a traffic accident involving stock on the road earlier this evening (Thursday 12 July 2018).

Shire of Augusta Margaret River Rangers issued the warning approximately 8pm after responding to the incident and determining that not all escaped stock have been found and contained.

Rangers are continuing to search for the stocck but advise that dark and rainy conditions are hampering this evening's efforts.

Anyone who spots stock on the road or on road verges is asked to please call on the Rangers after hours number 0419 902 540.
