Pick My Project voting begins

Published on 15 August 2018

Residents can now vote on more than 50 projects in Macedon Ranges Shire as part of the Victorian Government’s Pick My Project initiative.

Pick My Project is a $30 million online community grants program that gives Victorians the chance to suggest project ideas and then vote to decide which ones are funded.

Local residents and groups have submitted their projects, some of which are on Council- managed land.

To vote, residents register on the site and select a voting area by searching by street address or locality, or by dropping a pin on a map. At least 30 project ideas close to this selected area will be shown, and residents can vote for up to three favourites.

Voting closes at 5pm on Monday 17 September.

The Pick My Project team is running events to support the voting process, including a session in Woodend on 8 September.
