East Gippsland Shire Council recently hosted a business breakfast in Bairnsdale as part of the Victorian Government’s Small Business Festival.
Guest speaker Gus Balbontin is the former executive director and Chief Technology Officer of Lonely Planet.
The investor, advisor and dynamic speaker impressed guests with his knowledge and powerful concepts of adapting to change in a business environment.
Mayor Cr Joe Rettino said Gus’ presentation made for an inspiring and empowering morning for attendees.
“Gus’ straight forward, no holds barred approach delivers powerful concepts for change management,” Cr Rettino said.
“Many people and businesses are finding it difficult to navigate today’s fast-changing business environment. I would encourage all local business operators to have a look at Gus’ podcasts if you missed the breakfast,” Cr Rettino said.
The Victorian Government’s Small Business Festival is held annually throughout August, with over 400 events across the state.
