Parking restrictions – Campbelltown Sports Stadium

Temporary parking restrictions will be implemented at the Leumeah Road commuter car park (adjacent to Wests Leagues Club) on Thursday, 23 August 2018 due to a major event at Campbelltown Sports Stadium (Wests Tigers V Manly Sea Eagles) with limited parking available at this location. Alternate parking is located off Plough Inn Road, Leumeah.

Council is seeking community input into the feasibility of a new bus route that would service businesses along Blaxland Rd, Campbelltown.

Quotation Q18/14 Aquatic weed mapping and control

We are seeking a suitably experienced contractor to undertake the survey, mapping and the treatment of key aquatic weed infestations identified on nominated waterways within the Campbelltown Local Government Area.

Development proposals Menangle Park release Stage 2B 

Council has received a development application from APP Corporation for civil works and the subdivision of land into 93 Torrens title allotments, including three residue allotments.  The application forms Stage 2B of the Menangle Park land release. The development is proposed at Lot 1 DP 598067, Lot 1 DP 1091474 and Lot 31 DP1101983. 

The subject land comprises proposed residue Lot 1261 in Stage 1 of the Menangle Park release (3885/2017/DA-SW), which is currently under assessment by Council. 

Campbelltown City Council is the consent authority for this development application. 

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a Controlled Activity Approval (CAA) pursuant to the provisions of Section 91 of the Water Management Act 2000. 

The proposal is identified as Integrated Development as it requires an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP) under Section 90 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, a Bushfire Safety Authority (BFSA) from the Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997 and approval pursuant to Section 22 of the Coal Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 2017. 

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; and at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown.

Council has received a development application from Mr Salvatore Prestia for the alterations and additions to an existing service station at Lot 1 DP 122424, Lot 1 Campbelltown Rd, Glenfield.

Campbelltown City Council is the consent authority for this development application.

The application involves the installation of additional bowsers; therefore, the application is being assessed under and exhibited pursuant to the provisions of State Environmental Planning Policy 33 – Hazardous and Offensive Development. Council has received a development application from Turner & Townsend Thinc for the construction and operation of the Campbelltown Sports and Health Centre of Excellence including a two storey building, 120 onsite parking spaces, new driveways and landscaping works at Pt Lot 4099 DP 1206283, Lot 4 DP 247902, Western Sydney University Campbelltown Campus, 183 Narellan Rd, Campbelltown.

Sydney Western City Planning Panel is the determination authority for this development application.

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000.

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; and at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown.
