Children in Cooma, Bredbo, Nimmitabel, and Michelago are being encouraged to put their creative caps on and produce an artwork that may feature on the new waste and recycling collection vehicle.

Children up to 12-years-of-age are eligible to enter the competition with artworks to promote the reduce, reuse, recycle message. Council would like children to draw or paint a colourful image with a slogan illustrating what recycling means to you, your community and environment.

How to Enter? Artwork should be provided to Council on an A4 sheet of paper including name, age and best contact details on the back of the drawing.

Entries can be received at Council offices in Cooma or they can be posted to:

The competition closes at 5 pm Friday 14 September 2018. All entries received will be displayed on Council’s websites. The winning artwork will be featured on the new collection vehicle and the artist will win a “Buddy Bench” made from recycled plastics for their school/community.
