The Lorax, a timeless tale of environmental consequences, is being screened by Council in partnership with the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group to acknowledge National Threatened Species Day which falls on 7 September.
This is a family-friendly event which will encourage children to think about the protection of our flora and fauna, but presented in a fun way.
Bring your beanbags, cushions or rugs (chairs provided) and come along to the Woodend Community Centre on Saturday 8 September at 2pm to see the animated film of the classic Dr Seuss book.
Free entry, free popcorn and light refreshments will be available.
