Armadale locals have a unique opportunity to be inspired by internationally renowned futurist, Peter Newman, as part of the Envision Armadale speaker series.
The presentation will explore trends in technology, transport, and sustainable practices, and will be held on Tuesday 25 September at Piara Waters Pavilion from 5.30 to 7.30pm.
The speaker series introduces the public to inspiring new ideas and concepts around creating liveable neighbourhoods and cities in their own backyard.
With numerous accolades to his name, most recently Scientist of the Year at the 2018 WA Premier’s Science Awards, Peter Newman is a Professor of sustainability at Curtin University and has written 20 books and more than 340 papers on sustainable cities.
City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the presentation will provide a unique opportunity for the community to be inspired to work together towards a brighter future.
