Calling Expressions of Interest to run Creative Events

Bellingen Shire Council seeks expressions of interest from relevant local groups or individuals to assist in the management and delivery of two industry events it will host in the coming months.

SMALL BUSINESS MONTH – OCTOBER 2018 Council has received funding from the NSW State Government to run an event or several events across the Shire. The event(s) are to celebrate Small Business Month and can be based around the following themes:

Council would like to hear from industry associations, business groups, creatives, professional organisations and individuals based in the Bellingen Shire. Submissions will be judged against: alignment to the themes; originality of concept; method of delivery; reach across the Shire and value for money.  Up to $4,000 is available. Conditions around branding and reporting will apply. Council will contribute to advertising the event.

Expressions of the Interest should be submitted to: [email protected] and clearly titled. EOI Small Business Month. Submissions to be received by close of business on 14 September.

IGNITE MNC SYMPOSIUM - 7 NOVEMBER 2018 Bellingen has been selected as the venue for the Mid North Coast Ignite Symposium. The event will be delivered in partnership with Regional Development Australia Mid North Coast. The theme will be Transformation by Design.

This event follows the very successful symposium held in 2017 in Bowraville, NSW. 

The event offers an opportunity to showcase the Shire’s Creative Industries.  A Mini Trade Expo will be held in the Uniting Church Hall to complement the main event, which will be held in the Memorial Hall. Up to 400 delegates are expected to attend from across the region.

Council is seeking EOI to develop and deliver the Mini Trade Expo. Council aims to showcase up to twenty creative businesses from across the Shire. These creative businesses must service non creative businesses and can include:

Council would like to hear from industry associations, business groups, creatives, professional organisations and individuals based in the Bellingen Shire. Submissions will be assessed on: their capacity and experience to deliver; creative theme and value for money. Submissions need to include a quote to deliver the event.
