The City of Ballarat will begin its Smarter Parking Plan Community Think Tank Sessions next week.
Each councillor will hold a session in their ward to ensure the Smarter Parking Plan information reaches as many City of Ballarat residents as possible, while also ensuring councillors to consult with a wide range of residents.
The sessions start on Monday 27 August, with Cr Mark Harris holding a think tank at the Mount Pleasant Observatory at 3pm.

Cr Belinda Coates – Friday 31 August, 4pm at the Brown Hill Cricket Club, Reid Court, Brown Hill Cr Jim Rinaldi – Monday 3 September, 10am at the Eureka Room at the Eureka Centre, 102 Stawell Street Cr Daniel Moloney – Monday 3 September, 12pm at the Yuille Park Community College, Violet Grove, Wendouree Cr Grant Tillett – Tuesday, 4 September, 4pm at Miners Rest Primary School Meeting Hub, 2-12 Dundas Street, Miners Rest Cr Des Hudson – Thursday 6 September, 4pm at Ballarat South Neighbourhood Centre, Tuppen Drive, Sebastopol Cr Amy Johnson – Monday 10 September, 4pm at Alfredton Recreation Reserve main building, 89 Cuthberts Road, Alfredton Cr Samantha McIntosh – Thursday 13 September, 12pm at Ballarat North Neighbourhood House, 6 Crompton Street, Soldiers HillA Smarter Parking Plan community workshop session will also be held on Saturday 1 September. During this workshop, residents will have a chance to find out more detail about the plan and provide feedback. Registrations for the workshop closes Wednesday 29 August.
