Help shape the future of Wendouree's open spaces
Ballarat (City) 29 Aug 2018

Wendouree residents and the wider community are invited to help the City of Ballarat create an integrated vision and plan for Wyndholm Reserve, Pioneer Park, Waldie Park and Wendouree Recreation Reserve.

Residents will be able to work with the City of Ballarat’s Engaged Communities team to make these open spaces great places for the entire community.

The plan will rejuvenate this open parkland, providing opportunities to connect spaces within the parkland and create unique points of interest.

Two community engagement sessions, being held in early September, will build on the targeted planning and public safety works implemented at the Wendouree Recreation Reserve throughout the past 18 months.

We want to hear from you - come along and let us know your thoughts and ideas about what the spaces are now used for and what they could look like in the future. These sessions will help build the longer-term plan for the space, which will be rolled out in the next few years as funding becomes available.

The City of Ballarat will hold two community drop-in sessions at the Y2 Community College Campus, Ring Road, Wendouree, opposite the entrance of Pioneer Park on:

Tuesday 4 September, 4-6pm  Thursday 6 September, 10am-12pm
