Free tip entry this weekend

Residents of the City of Hobart can drop off green and general waste for free this weekend at the McRobies Gully Waste Management Centre ('the tip').

The free entry weekend only applies to green and general waste. Domestic quantities of waste will be accepted, for example a standard ute load or box trailer, and free entry does not apply to waste such as tyres, paints, chemicals, asbestos, other hazardous waste, or commercial waste.

 To gain free entry, simply show your driver's licence to the tollbooth operator to verify that you are a resident of the City of Hobart.
