Author Talks at the Library

Jeff Doherty

Join local children’s author Jeff Doherty on Friday 10 August at 4.30 pm to hear about his

second novel “Olivia Stone and Dread of the Dreamers”.

Carmel Bendon

Writer, academic and presenter of “All Things Medieval”, Carmel Bendon, will be visiting the

Library on Thursday 16 August at 6.15 pm to talk about her new novel “Grasping at Water”.

Ursula Dubosarsky

Award winning author, Ursula Dubosarsky will be discussing her new children’s book “Lead

Stone Beetle” on Friday 17 August at 10.30 am.

Levee Ready Bathurst

The SES in partnership with Council is running an information session on Tuesday 14 August from 6.00pm-8.00pm at Panthers to learn more about levees and talk about options for actions if the levees fail or overtop. For more information or to RSVP phone 6334 8555.

Access Improvement for Small Business Grants

Grants are available to assist local small businesses and non-profit organisations improve access and inclusion to their place of business/organisation.

Businesses and non-profit organisations within the Bathurst region may apply for funding of either 50% of project costs, or up to a maximum of $5,000 on a dollar for dollar basis.

CCTV Funding Program
