What happens when singer-songwriter and diplomat Fred Smith teams up with the mischievous all-male Melbourne choir, Men in Suits?
You get a musical performance of tender harmonies, burly beards and heartfelt folk songs in their collaboration Urban Sea Shanties.
Join Fred Smith and Men in Suits on Friday 7 September at 7.30pm at Kyneton Town Hall for a night of fine song-writing and irreverence.
Fred Smith is a favourite on the Australian music festival scene, combining his passion for music with various diplomatic peace-keeping missions in Afghanistan and the South Pacific.
With various albums under his belt, a book, and the subject of an ABC TV Australian Story episode, Fred is a natural performer, able to deftly take audiences from the flooded streets of New Orleans to the mosques of Karachi in his storytelling.
All-male choir Men of Suits are known for their flash-mob style performances, creating unexpected hijinks and harmonies in laneways, shopping centres, train stations and corporate functions throughout the country.
Now it's Kyneton’s chance to experience this delightful collaboration—don’t miss out!
Tickets are $45 for adults, $42 for seniors and $40 for concession.
