As part of the Domestic Animal Management Plan for 2017-2021, Bass Coast Shire Council is introducing a number of initiatives to make it easier and more affordable for residents to register their animal.

Bass Coast Shire Council’s first ever Advocacy Strategy was adopted at the recent June Ordinary Council Meeting.

In Bass Coast we are officially way above the State average when it comes to volunteers. We have over 20% of residents participating in volunteer activities and each week I have the pleasure of coming across many of these volunteers, who make such a significant and selfless contribution to our community.
