On February 28th and March 1st 2018, The Queen's Baton will make its way through Alice Springs as it's passed along by Batonbearers to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games!
56 locals and 4 Australian athletes will carry the Queen's Baton into and through Alice Springs. You can see the route of the Relay, complete with a schedule and individual Batonbearers, by visiting the QBR website. Click 'Australia Dates', 'NT', and select Alice Springs.
If you'd like to see the Queen's Baton up close, head down to Todd Mall from 5:00pm and join in with our Community Celebration! You'll be able to see the baton from when it arrives at 5:30pm to when it departs at 6:00pm. Click here for more information.
Please be aware that there will be traffic management measures in place during the Relay, which will likely cause delays. Parking on Todd Street will be unavailable on 28 February.
