Spring into Nature and connect with your community

From bush care events to beach clean ups, guided bushwalks, coastal strolls and night stalks - a variety of events are planned in each ward for all ages to learn about local flora and fauna, as well as the issues our natural areas face.

Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said it was also a great way to see the natural beauty in your own ‘backyard’ as well as meet fellow community members.

“The City of Wanneroo is home to some incredible natural areas,” Mayor Roberts said.

“Spring is the perfect time to get outdoors and see everything from wildflowers to our native wildlife, or help maintain our stunning coastline.

“The City’s Spring Conservation Activities give you the opportunity to enjoy some of our hidden natural treasures and wildlife while connecting with your community.”

General information:

Please bring a water bottle and wear sturdy enclosed shoes, hat and sunscreen. Morning tea is provided at morning events. The Honey Possum Park, Banksia Grove guided walk is wheelchair accessible.
