Eurobodalla Council will hold an information stall in Mogo on Saturday 15 September to seek residents’ feedback on two projects underway in the village.

Members of Council’s recreation services team will be seeking ideas from Mogo residents regarding potential upgrades to recreation facilities, as identified in Council’s Recreation and Open Space Strategy.

The strategy reclassified Mogo Sporting Oval as a Local Recreation Park and the team is looking forward to hearing the community’s ideas on possible designs, layout and features of playground equipment, community activities, toilets, barbecues and park furniture.

Another action is to upgrade picnicking facilities and investigate options for a multipurpose play element at John Street Reserve.

Meanwhile, Council’s Strategic Planning Officer will also be available to answer questions about a new draft Mogo Village Commercial Centre Development Control Plan, currently on public exhibition.

The draft plan provides planning and design guidelines to ensure any new development in Mogo’s commercial centre is consistent with the village’s historic character.

It was developed in response to requests from the Mogo business community and is available to view through our Public Exhibition page until Monday 17 September.

The information stall will be held at Mogo’s John Street Reserve on Saturday 15 September between 10am and 1pm.

There will be no formal presentations and interested residents can drop in at any time to chat about either project.
