There was a massive turn out of jobseekers and school kids at this year's Careers Expo held in the Civic Hall.

Staff at Barkly Regional Council spent the morning on Thursday, 16 August talking to school leavers, job seekers and those wanting a career change. The Civic Hall was packed as school children from Tennant Creek Highs School and independent job seekers came to find out what's on offer at Council, Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation, the NT Police, Defence Force, McArthur River Mining, Allied Indigenous Health, the Central Land Council, Department of Education, Industry Skills Advisory Council NT, Flinders University, Charles Darwin University, Volunteering NT, the National Disability Coordination Officer Program, the Department of Health and many other organisations.
