A new public toilet will make it a more pleasant experience to safely answer the call of nature when exploring Sandy foreshore.
We are replacing the existing aging red brick toilet on the foreshore opposite Southey Street, Sandringham with a new facility to improve amenity, safety and access.
The upgrade includes improvements to the Beach Road frontage.
The existing toilet has been demolished and a portable toilet is available for public use during the construction period.
The need for a toilet update at this site was identified as part of the Sandringham Beach and Gardens Masterplan 2017. Construction is expected to be completed by October.
