Have your say Draft Bow Bowing Bunbury Curran Creek Strategic Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan

Council has prepared the Draft Bow Bowing Bunbury Curran Creek Strategic Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan (FRMSP) and is seeking feedback from the community. 

The FRMSP identifies the areas in Campbelltown most at risk of flooding and potential ways to minimise this risk. 

The draft document is available to view online at campbelltown.nsw.gov.au/haveyoursay, at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown; Eaglevale Library, Cnr Feldspar Rd and Emerald Dr, Eagle Vale; Greg Percival Library, Cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn; and Glenquarie Branch Library, Brooks St, Macquarie Fields until Monday 1 October 2018. 

Community information sessions will be held on Thursday 20 September from 11am to 1pm and from 5pm to 7pm at Campbelltown Civic Hall, 91 Queen St, Campbelltown. Please come along and discuss the FRMSP with Council officers.

Council has received a development application from Mr Salvatore Prestia for the alterations and additions to an existing service station at Lot 1 DP 122424, Lot 1 Campbelltown Rd, Glenfield.

Campbelltown City Council is the consent authority for this development application.

The application involves the installation of additional bowsers; therefore, the application is being assessed under and exhibited pursuant to the provisions of State Environmental Planning Policy 33 – Hazardous and Offensive Development. All applications affected by this Policy are required to be publicly exhibited.

Council has received a development application from Turner & Townsend Thinc for the construction and operation of the Campbelltown Sports and Health Centre of Excellence including a two storey building, 120 onsite parking spaces, new driveways and landscaping works at Pt Lot 4099 DP 1206283, Lot 4 DP 247902, Western Sydney University Campbelltown Campus, 183 Narellan Rd, Campbelltown.

Sydney Western City Planning Panel is the determination authority for this development application.

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000.
