Float registrations for the 2018 Christmas Festival and Pageant are now open!
This year’s pageant is on Saturday, December 1 and will feature a variety of performances and entertainment kicking off at 3pm and finishing with the Pageant at 6pm.
Last year’s parade attracted more than 40 floats and Mayor Dennis Wellington said he would love to see even more this year.
“Each year the Christmas Festival and Pageant gets bigger and better, it’s one of Albany’s favourite events and always draws thousands of spectators to the CBD,” Mayor Wellington said.
“It’s a terrific exercise to see so many businesses and community groups come together to celebrate the festive season with such an incredible display.”
Registrations are open until November 2, 2018. Registration forms can be downloaded from the City of Albany website www.albany.wa.gov.au or by contacting the Events Team on 6820 3031 or [email protected].
