Now in its 15th year, the Bayside Seniors Festival will be back again this October.
The theme for this year is “Get Social”, and here in Bayside, we’ve made getting social easy with a jam-packed schedule of fun and inclusive activities.
The month long festivities will begin on the 1st of the month, followed by an official launch on 4 October headlined by retired media personality and local resident Mal Walden and comedian Monica Dullard.
There will be over 100 free or low-cost local activities that encourage all seniors to get out and about in the local community, celebrate ageing and have fun while doing it.
With over 40 Bayside clubs hosting open days and come and try sessions, the festival is the perfect opportunity to find out what’s on offer in the community and try something new.
The friendly and inclusive environment will make it easy to catch up with old friends or make new ones – all seniors are welcome!
To make sure you don’t miss out on any of the activities, pick up a free copy of the Bayside Seniors Festival booklet from your local library, Senior Community Centres or from the Bayside City Council Corporate Centre in Sandringham.
