With so much on around the City of Kingston, there’s plenty of reasons to leave the house these school holidays.
Kingston Acting Mayor Georgina Oxley said that Kingston has school holidays sorted with arts workshops, swimming, fun at the library and an action-packed vacation care program.
"Register now to join in on a range of fun, active, interesting holiday events suited for kids of all ages. We’ve got great ideas for these school holidays, from Orienteering to Aqua Discos," Cr Oxley said.
Holiday Program
Council runs a Holiday Program at Chelsea Primary and Southmoor Primary Schools. Primary school aged students can join us for exciting excursions, including a trip to Luna Park, Super Zu, and more - plus a host of fun activities including a Bollywood dance lessons, a Silent Disco, a Japanese Drumming workshop and a whole lot more.

Kingston Libraries and Community Centres
Kingston Libraries runs a series of FREE events and activities each school holidays. Head to your local library to enjoy arts, crafts and more. Teenagers can enjoy Wii and Xbox games or take part in a photography workshop; whilst younger kids can create wooden spoon puppets, make their own movie, have fun with macramé and much more at Kingston Libraries these September holidays. Westall and Chelsea Hubs will run a number of movie screenings.

Kingston Active
Waves runs a range of school holiday activities including a Holiday Swim Intensive Program with daily swimming lessons, fun inflatable sessions and even an ‘Aqua Disco’.

Kingston Arts
Join in on the Term 3 Holiday abstract art workshop. Children aged 6–13 will learn how to create their own colourful works from everyday materials.
