This year’s Lithgow Halloween on Saturday 27 October has a jam packed entertainment program with the great 80’s band The Cockroaches announced as the headline act.
The band is excited! “It’s kind of like we are playing a big private party. We’ll do a whole bunch of Cockroaches songs from our albums as well as songs that we’ve always loved to play as well as some modern songs as we’ve got some youngsters playing with us”, enthuses lead singer Paul Field.
The one man who was actually paid to sleep on the job with The Wiggles, Jeff Fatt adds, “we know if people come along that they’ll have fun. See you there!”
There will be lots of entertainment for the whole family with two live music stages, Ghost Train rides with Lachlan Valley Rail, markets, high flying aerial shows, street performers and amusement rides for the young and brave.
Join in the Street Parade with the Samba Trombada drumming band in your best costume and take part in the best dressed competition.
“We hope to see lots of people in Main Street for Lithgow Halloween and the fantastic costumes that is a highlight each year” said Lithgow General Manager, Graeme Faulkner. Â
Director Economic Development and Environment, Andrew Muir added “the support from all our sponsors is much appreciated and this year Centennial Coal and Energy Australia are Gold sponsors with Lithgow McDonalds and Lithgow Workies Club are Bronze sponsors.”
