European Wasp Management Information Session at Lithgow Library

Following a season of high European Wasp activity and community interest, Council has organised a free information session to assist property owners safely manage this pest on their properties.
Lithgow Mayor Stephen Lesslie said “there were near misses last season with residents and European Wasps. I encourage all residents interested in learning how to safely manage and live with wasps to come along to this free information session”.
Time: 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm

The one hour information session will be presented by a local pest control expert from Wolfman Pest Control. Participants will be provided with information on safety and management techniques followed by a question & answer session.
Mayor Lesslie concluded “European Wasps are aggressive and will sting if threatened. Its important people are informed about the best management of these pests”.
