Strathbogie Shire Council is planning to remove 14 trees at Euroa Caravan Park deemed hazardous and unhealthy in a recent independent arborists’ report.

The trees have been specifically identified and recommended for removal by a qualified independent arborist due to poor health evident by the extensive epicormics growth and the risk to public safety.

There will be a staged approach to the works based on risk.

Council values the amenity of the landscape along the Seven Creeks Reserve and will be undertaking remediation and replanting following the removals.

Council has been working with relevant stakeholders and community groups in relation to the proposed removals.

The removals of the trees require a planning approval process to be undertaken, which will provide an opportunity for community input via formal submissions.

If you have any further questions or concerns relating to the planned tree removals, please contact Strathbogie Shire Council on 1800 065 993 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
