There were some very well bred lines among the 1400 yarded by Euroa Associated Agents for the September sale.

Cattle continued to show the effects of winter and the tight seasonal conditions at the sale, which took place on Wednesday, 5September.

Rodwells Stock Agent, Scott Meehan said despite the recent rainfall across some drought affected regions in the north, it’s too early to show or have any impact on prices in the store market.

“The market eased on some lines of cattle depending on breed and quality, but remained firm on better presented lines,” Mr Meehan explained.

“Feedlot buyers were less active at the market and this saw prices for these cattle fall under current rates being offered direct to the feedlot.”
