Dogs and Cats Online

A new state-wide registration and microchipping database is coming on 1 July 2018.

Dogs and Cats Online (DACO), will enable dog owners to register their pooch with Council online. Owners will be able to renew an existing registration, update contact details or addresses via their secure account.

DACO will also be the new state-wide register for dog and cat microchipping; owners of both dogs and cats will be required to register their pet’s microchip on DACO.

Owners of dogs currently registered with Council will soon receive correspondence from the State Government with their new lifetime tag, with information on registering your dog on DACO.
