Customer Satisfaction Survey Prize Winners
City of Rockingham 13 Sep 2018

This year, 10,000 hard-copy surveys were mailed to a random selection of ratepayers. Almost 2000 valid surveys were returned or about 20%, which is considered a high return rate.

The survey is now in its ninth year and is one of the City’s vital research tools to gain feedback from residents. City of Rockingham Mayor, Barry Sammels said the survey is a key measurement of progress against Council’s key objectives: “The data collected over nine years gives Council an important way to measure how our population perceives the quality of the facilities and delivery of services such as libraries, sports fields, footpaths and cycle ways, community health and wellbeing programs.

“This survey is an important way to measure how well we are meeting Council and community’s shared vision and aspirations under the Community Plan 2015-2025.

“Over time I am reassured to see the City’s overall performance scores have increased from 3.7 in 2009 to four out of five (4/5) in 2016. These results tell me we are on the right track and continuously improving in the areas that are most important to our residents.

“I would like to thank everyone who completed a survey this year. We do take action on the comments and results received.

“Congratulations to all of this year’s lucky prize winners.”
