Re-opened this month the upgrades have been completed in time for the busy summer period. Works were completed a month ahead of schedule and within the $250 000 budget.
City of Rockingham Mayor, Barry Sammels, said the timing was perfect for the up and coming summer: “These boat ramps experience heavy usage during the peak summer boating season and I am pleased works have been completed early for our recreational boat users. “Several items required maintenance to avoid deterioration and potential damage. The City thanks residents for their patience while we completed the required works.” Works completed were as follows: Eastern Ramp and Holding Jetty
