Spring into Campaspe Libraries these school holidays

Sun’s out, fun’s out these school holidays with Campaspe Regional Library Service providing free craft and activities across all five branches to keep the children entertained.

Library Services Manager Jenny Mustey said the focus of craft activities these school holidays is on reusing plastic and cardboard waste.

“Many fun and creative activities are planned including making mosaics out of recycled DVDs, bugs and beetles out of plastics bottles and bottle tops, decorating recycled calico draw string bags and sewing lessons using old socks from home,” Ms Mustey said.

All the usual favourites will be available including movie afternoons, rhyme time, story time and making things move with Tech.

In addition to the school holiday program at Campaspe libraries, a range of books as well as DVDs are free to borrow to keep the young ones occupied as they days get longer.

“We encourage all families to engage in activities with their children these school holidays at the Echuca, Kyabram, Rochester, Rushworth and Tongala libraries,” Ms Mustey said.

Bookings are essential as places are limited. All activities commence on time and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Bookings can be made online at campaspe.vic.gov.au/library or by phoning 5481 2400.
