Successful Grant Funding for Hassan’s Walls Reserve

Lithgow Council has received $30,000 through the Public Reserves Management Fund Program (PRMFP) for environmental works in Hassan’s Walls Reserve.

Lithgow Council has secured additional grant funding to continue important environmental improvements for the fifth consecutive year. This funding will continue to aid on-going maintenance and rehabilitation works in Hassan’s Walls Reserve.

The grant funding fosters the enhancement of biodiversity, reduces erosion, improves habitat value and controls noxious weeds within the reserve. Funding will allow this work to continue encouraging community participation through activities such community planting days.
