There's no denying some of Perth's best gardens are in the City of Bayswater. These gardens bring colour and vibrancy to our streets and make our neighbourhoods more pleasant places to be. That's why, each year, the City celebrates Bayswater's most impressive gardens and the talented people who create them through its Garden Awards.
Entries are open from now until Friday 2 November. You can nominate your own garden or one that belongs to someone you know. It's easy to enter, just send a photo of the garden along with the category you would like to enter to [email protected], or enter in person by visiting the City of Bayswater Civic Centre.
Our inner east location means the City of Bayswater boasts a huge variety of incredible gardens, from verge to vegetable, to native and tiny pocket gardens. This year we've added four new award categories. A cash prize of $300 or a garden hamper are up for grabs for each category winner. Runners up will receive $100 - bragging rights are free. May the best garden win!
