Wednesday, September 26 – Sunday, September 30, 2018 In celebration of this year’s Brisbane Festival, Brisbane City Council is projecting the thought-provoking artwork by Jemima Wyman, Auguste Rodin’s Thinker spray-painted at the time of the La Marcha de las Putas in Buenos Aires, 12th August 2011 (Pink Thinker) onto the William Jolly Bridge from 26-30 September, 5.30-10pm daily. Jemima Wyman is a contemporary artist who lives and works between Los Angeles and Brisbane. Since graduating from QUT Jemima has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally. Jemima Wyman’s intense pattern-based designs evoke global communication networks, the social mediascape and popular cultures, considering the transformative and protective power of textiles including pattern, clothing, masking and more. Brisbane Festival runs from 8-29 September and is an initiative of the Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council.
