Applications are now open for Round 1 of our 2019 Community Grants Program, which has more than $170,000 to allocate to local not-for-profit groups and organisations.

There is still time to have your say on potential off-leash beach areas for dog walking in San Remo, Cape Woolamai, Newhaven and Cowes. Our online survey is open until Friday, 15 February.

I am constantly reminded of our generous and compassionate community spirit and the dedication of volunteers across our Shire. The recent emergency situation during the bushfire in the Grantville area, near Adams Estate, highlighted just how deeply these qualities run through our community.
