The annual Bargain Book Sale at Cessnock City Library is on again from Monday 17 September. The sale is always an opportunity to pick up a great read or DVD for a bargain price.
Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent said the sale of pre-loved library stock is always very popular and it’s great to see the resources getting a new home.
“There will be something for everyone in our community with old library items and donations on offer. This includes books, magazines, music and DVDs."
“Reading is an activity everyone in our community can enjoy and benefit from. I encourage all residents to check out the bargains on offer. It’s a good time for those that aren’t keen readers to pick up a book and give it a go,” Cr Pynsent said.
The book sale kicks off at 9am on Monday and will run until Thursday 27 September or until all items are sold. For further information please call Cessnock Library on 4993 4399.
