Town of Claremont Mayor Barker will host an official opening of the new playspaces at Lake Claremont on the morning of Wednesday, 4 July 2018 and welcomes family and friends to come along.
“The beautiful nature playspaces have been designed to fit within the natural environment of the Lake Claremont area,” Mayor Barker said. “Having two playgrounds catering to different age groups provides something for everyone in our new Lake Claremont recreation precinct.”
The smaller, toddler playground is located next door to Lake Espresso whilst the larger playground, suitable for 8-12 year olds, is next to the lake at the end of Lapsley Rd.
“The Town’s Lake Claremont Recreation Committee* have worked closely with the community, consulting and evaluating feedback as well as extensive research to make sure the perfect playspace was built.”
Children will have the opportunity to test out the new play equipment as well as take part in other activities on offer for all ages such as painting a mural on the Lake Claremont Art Cube, making flower crowns with Kids Nature Club or joining in Playgroup WA’s natural art collage activities.
There will be coffee vouchers for Lake Espresso as well as light morning tea refreshments for the parents. Back To News Stories
