Motorists travelling to and from Long Beach and Maloneys Beach should allow extra travel time as Eurobodalla Council crews continue work on Cullendulla Drive.
Council is resurfacing a section of Cullendulla Drive from 150m east of the Princes Highway to Kettle Road. It follows stage one of the project, which resurfaced the road from the highway during August.
From Tuesday 2 October the existing road surface will be replaced with gravel for approximately three weeks while works are undertaken prior to the road being resealed.
Traffic control will remain in place during work hours and the speed limit will be 40km/h until the new seal is applied.
Once complete, the 800m section from the Princes Highway to Kettle Road will have two 3.5-metre wide traffic lanes with a two-metre wide shoulder off both sides.
Council encourages motorists to take care around the work site, expect delays and follow traffic control and speed limit signs.
The project is funded by the Australian Government's Bridges Renewal Program ($202,021), the NSW Government’s Restart NSW Program ($668,204) and Council's capital works program ($385,400).
