Hundreds of photographs showcasing the beauty of the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden are currently on display.
The exhibition at the Garden follows the annual call for entries for the Friends of the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden group’s 2019 calendar.
This year the 206 photographs in the exhibition were painfully selected from more than 260 entries.
Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden Manager Michael Anlezark said all photographs in the exhibition were taken within the past 12 months in the Garden.
“There is a broad range of images that uncover the true splendour of the Gardens – from its stunning flowers, interesting textures and hard-to-spot fungi to the wider landscape and the Garden’s vast array of animals and birds,” he said.
“The standard of entries is amazing and includes lots photographs from people who have never entered before.”
Visitors to the exhibition can cast a vote in the people’s choice award and help decide which entries will feature in the 2019 calendar.
Funds raised from the sale of the popular calendar are used to support further development of the Botanic Garden and its important role in the conservation of the region’s flora.
The exhibition is open from 9am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday, and daily during the school holidays until Saturday 6 October.
