White Ribbon Day event 2018

The seventh annual Boroondara White Ribbon Day event aims to raise awareness and prevent the negative impact of violence against women.

Join keynote speaker, Tarang Chawla, as he shares his story of overcoming adversity and bringing humanity to statistics following the murder of his 23-year-old sister Nikita. Tarang is a 2017 Young Australian of the Year Finalist, University of Melbourne Rising Star Award recipient, and founder of the 'Not One More Niki' campaign to end violence against women.

The event will also feature an interactive panel discussion where you can ask questions and learn how you can make a difference and the support services available. Panel members include:

Tarang Chawla, 2017 Young Australian of the Year Finalist Gabrielle Hitch, Eastern Domestic Violence Service Inspector Stephen Noy, Victoria Police.
